Position : Sales Coordinator The sales coordinator is responsible for proactive as well as the reactive sales effort at the hotel. Responsibilities also include driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. This position requires a detail oriented focus. The sales coordinator must be reliable, a team player, competent, as well as being able to work autonomously. Manages group administrative functions – rooming list, payments, incidental info, pre- arrival checklists, baggage requirements, departure activities, group folders, filing etc. Manages sales administrative functions – preparing contracts and proposals, customer correspondences and email confirmations. Sales Coordinator quotes meeting room rentals, oversees set up of meeting room and supervises the meeting room attendant. Generate weekly calendar showing meeting room rentals and tour group arrivals. Position is responsible for training all Front Desk Associates on Sales methods. Provide back up for Front Desk Associates and answer phones as needed.
Job Requirements:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Word and Excel.
Previous hotel experience a plus.
Ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to communicate with all managers, supervisors and fellow associates. Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner.

Know-How
Ability to teach and assist students with college planning. Knowledge of OR willingness to learn about community dynamics in Northern Arizona. Skills in effective communication and making public presentations. Commitment to promoting and assisting students/community understanding of the importance of high education. Ability to work with staff and students of deverse cultural backgrounds, age groups, and abilities. Ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems. Ability to initiate, implement and evaluate projects. Knowledge of Microsoft environments including Word, Excel, Power Point; email and Internet. Knowledge of OR willingness to learn about student data tracking systems and software relevant to college access.
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to area of assisnment with two years experience within education, youth development, and/or community outreach OR six years of pregressively responsible administrative coordinative program experience;OR any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
- Have effective interpersonal skills includeing the ability to work with staff, students and community partners with good organizational skills.
- Possess a valid AZ Drivers license and be eligible for van certification.
PREFFERED
- Master's degree in a field related to area of assignment and one year of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of principles of college access and TRIO experience
- Bilingual Skills a Plus (Navajo or Spanish)
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES
- Assist in the development;support, and/or strengthening of new outreach programs for the Northern Arizona College Resource Center. Assess current outreach programs available in the community, Meet with community stakeholders about what needs should be addressed. Develop outreach materials and services based on community specific needs.
- Facilitate connections between university partners to continue to provide professional advising and other programming support.
- Per community needs grow community partnerships to be able to provide NACRC services in outside locations. This will include developing regional affiliates to assist with getting NACRC services to the greater Northern Arizona region.
- Attend/Present at communtiy meetings relevant to youth,education,carerr preparation as well as others.
- Oversee the management for Federal Gear Up grant
- Oversee Staff to include AmeriCorps states, interns, and lead volunteers
- Work in conjuection with Flagstaff Family YMCA Teen Coordinator, as space is split between YMCA Teen Center and NACRC
- Oversee Advisory Committee: Facilitate Advisory Committee meeting as well as subcommittee meetings and Assist Advisory Committee with fund development efforts. Research available and appropriate funding opportunites. Assist with grant and funding applications as appropriate.

The practice of Interpretation shall include facilitation of communication of medical information for Navajo speaking patients and their families with health care workers. This person may be interpreting for parents of infants, children, adolescents, adults and/or senior patients. The interpreter shall: be able to adequately translate Navajo to the English/English to Navajo, communicate effectively with other professional and support staff in order to achieve positive patient outcomes, promote and contribute to a positive, problem-solving environment.
High School graduate preferred and/or sufficient education/experience. Experience in the medical and health industries. Possess skills to be able to read and interpret both Navajo and English. Navajo Interpreter certification required within three months of hire.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK
The Economic Collaborative of Northern Arizona (ECONA) is seeking an Executive Director to further the goal of quality economic growth for the
Northern Arizona region and coordinate economic activities for the sixteen (16) entities, both public and private, that are actively engaged in this new regional economic development model. The ideal candidate will actively support and uphold the Collaborative’s mission and values, and is responsible for developing a more diverse and sustainable economy through coordination of the various entities.
Under direction of the Executive Committee, the ideal candidate is expected to perform responsible program management duties associated with economic programs including, but not limited to, Attraction, Retention/Expansion, Economic Gardening, Workforce and Redevelopment, as well as the establishment of a micro-loan program.
EXAMPLES OF THE WORK PERFORMED (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY)
- Aligns and coordinates goals of the ECONA partners.
- Identifies all the economic development activities in the region and through collaboration reduces redundancies.
- Primary point of contact and liaison for regional economic development inquiries (both public and private).
- Builds working relationships and provides excellent customer service to private and public sector customers.
- Works harmoniously with all economic development agencies (City, County, regional, state, federal, private).
- Staffs and manages ECONA’s Economic Development Teams (Attraction,
- Retention/Expansion, Economic Gardening, Workforce, Redevelopment).
- Maximizes the region’s exposure and recognition throughout the state and nation.
- Meets with key decision makers in the local economy on a regular basis to evaluate business and market conditions, makes recommendations regarding economic climate and possible necessary interventions to sustain the local economy.
- Proposes policies that advance the economic development of the region.
- Establishes a micro-loan program for constituents.
- Coordinates and undertakes a variety of economic analysis and research designed to support efforts to promote and enhance the economic vitality of the region.
- Coordinates marketing plans, strategies, projects, and programs of partners.
- Represents ECONA’s economic development program at meetings, conferences and trade shows; and, is the regional ‘voice’ and ‘face’ of Economic Development.
- Develop a self-sustaining endowment, and long-term financial security and success for ECONA.
- Performs other related duties as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative.
- Proven track record of coalition and consensus building in public and private sectors.
- Must possess professional skills and knowledge in the day-to-day management and coordination of economic policies and programs.
- Extensive knowledge of the principals and practices of economic development along with a proven track record of results.
- Thorough knowledge of the economic, geographic, and demographic factors that affect a community.
- Considerable knowledge of related state and federal programs for economic development.
- Experience in economic development financing techniques, including incentives, grants and micro-loans.
- Ability to plan and implement a variety of programs, projects, and activities related to economic development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to make effective verbal and written presentations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, Economic Development, Economics, Planning, or closely related field.
- Five years of progressive work experience in economic development (either municipal or private).
- Or any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the above Minimum Requirements.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- IEDC Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) certification.
- Masters Degree in Public or Business Administration, Economic Development, Economics, Planning, or closely related field.
- Progressive experience in economic development.
- Experience with recruitment of scientific and technology companies, in particular the areas of Biosciences, Medical Device Manufacturing, and Renewables.
- Experience with data analysis and Internet research.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess, or obtain upon employment, a valid
Arizona driver’s license.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity.
- Must be able to attend weekend and/or evening meetings.
- Must be able to travel out-of-town for meetings and trade shows.
- Must be able to obtain IEDC Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) certification within twelve months of hiring; and, attend annual training to maintain certification.
