Provides small business services including online resource guides, checklists, information on business licensing, statewide resources, certification programs, commerce incentive programs and education programs.
Provides business tax description codes, tax bracket descriptions, step by step guides on how to license a new business in Arizona, file personal or business taxes, and a vehicle use tax calculator.
Provides information on workshops for every stage of business growth, directories for the state of Arizona and local and statewide events. For a fee membership, business owners and entrepreneurs get to access educational, technological and B2B marketing opportunities and other resources that are not available to non-members.
Provides one-on-one confidential evaluation and guidance from accredited advisers with business ownership and management experience. AZSBDC also offers affordable seminars, workshops and training sessions to improve business growth. This network is an innovative partnership between ten of the state’s community college districts, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Defense.
Provides unsecured loans and lines of credit with low interest rates and high approval amounts. With over twenty years of industry experience, they provide personal consulting and friendly guidance when starting a new business or borrowing to expand an existing one.
Provides demographic information for the City of Flagstaff and Coconino County. Includes information on consumer expenditures, types of existing businesses and workforce statistics, as well as a search engine for commercial properties for sale or lease.
Provides resources taxpayers filing as self-employers or small businesses with assets under $10 million. This is a one stop assistance center for small businesses or self-employed entrepreneurs. It includes information on independent contractors, preparing and filing taxes, online learning workshops and the stages of owning a business. Helps with the basics on self-employment, filing requirements and reporting responsibilities for independent contractors.
Formerly known as NACET, Moonshot is a small business assistance program founded to help entrepreneurs and startups succeed in Northern Arizona. Offers hands-on consulting to high-tech, science and renewable energy firms and provides office space at NACET.
Northern Arizona Human Resource Association (NAHRA) is an affiliate of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest professional membership organization in HR Management. NAHRA provides opportunities for networking, information, professional development and continued support in HR.
Faculty and students from NAU’s W.A. Franke College of Business provide management development programs, consulting activities, publication of studies and professional participation in community organizations.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and fostering vibrant small business communities. SCORE partners with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and offers tools, workshops and mentoring from experts in 62 industries at low or no cost.
A branch of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Division was founded on the open exchange of information and ideas, while creating the opportunity for small businesses to speak with a unified voice. Offers free tools such as the Small Business Office Playbook and helps with selecting office space, keeping costs down and choosing the right suppliers.
